When you secure a choke on uke,  you pretty much end the fight.  


Generally speaking, Uke has about 6 seconds to “pick the lock” and escape once a choke is applied.  

That said, in a real fight, it might not even be that long ~ as uke’s  heart rate will be elevated.


Observe how nage remains patient once the choke is secure.  Keep that in mind ~ once the choke is locked down, there is a bit of “brew time” before uke goes down.


Also ~ note the arm flinging right before unconsciousness.  This is sheer panic and fear.
